Track of the Week: Eliot Stokober – Polar (Concrete Panther Remix)

When looking for tracks to play in a set, I always first look for the track or tracks that help build the energy level, with sophistication. You can build a set around this type of track as it can pick up the audience at their current energy level, takes them on the journey and carefully delivers them to the next level without breaking the musical connection.

The Track of the Week, a remix made by @concrete-panther, is a great example of such a track.

The track starts off calm (for a harder techno track) and keeps building and building until the break where the real intent of the track is shown.

When asking Concrete Panther about it, he explained how the track came about;

“I took the atmospheric and easy-going ”Polar” by the talented Eliot Stokober, and gave it a Berlin Techno twist. Retaining the cold and icy pads and atmospheres from the original, I brought this Ambient-Techno track to a more 4-to-the-floor, rushing and driving sound that you would hear in a dark underground Berlin club.”

So who is @concrete-panther?

I am an Anglo-French Dark & Underground DJ/Producer based in Berlin, taking adventures into the dark and underground side of Techno.
